Panel discussion and presentations:
-- Dr. Toby Pearlstein, (retired) Director, Global Information Services for Bain & Company will talk about the process of thinking through developing a solution for workflow management and demonstrating contribution and how Bain used the eRef service from SoftLink to track their global research workflow operations. Toby is a special guest coming in from Boston and an SLA member since 1977. Among her many positions, she is a past Chair of the Business and Finance Division and the Association Professional Development Committee. In June, she was admitted to the 2007 Class of SLA Fellows.
--Brian K. Reed, North American Research Manager for Oliver Wyman's FS business, will detail their homegrown solution and how they used it to make a case for increased staffing, increased resources and re-engineering their service model.
--Betty Croft, senior manager, Knowledge Services Organization's Third Party Content Management team at PricewaterhouseCoopers, will present the Knowledge Services Organization's solution from RightNow Technologies as a workflow tool for the research group.
